Most homebuyers consider the addition of property photos to an online listing to be very important. The average online listing with a virtual tour receives many more views than listings without tours.

Q. What is a virtual tour?
A. A virtual tour gives one the feeling of attending an open house without leaving the privacy of your own home! Select a room to view, and the virtual tour will pan a full 360° of the room! An immersive virtual tour starts you at the front door and actually allows you to "walk" around the house as if you were really there.

Q. How does this technology work?
A. A small Java or QuickTimeVR applet is quickly downloaded to your computer. It allows you to smoothly scroll through panoramas in every direction.

Q. What are some of the advantages of using a Virtual Tour?
A. Virtual Tours are quickly becoming the easiest way to get your real estate listings noticed on the web.

Q. From the time I click on a tour, how long will it take to see the image?
A. Tours are designed to load quickly, but several factors can contribute to wait times. The download speed is dependent on each user's connection speed, the faster the connection, the faster the download. The amount of available RAM makes a difference when viewing the tour after download. Most users can expect to see the opening image within 10 seconds.

Q. Is the 360° view created with a video camera?
A. No, PanoReality uses a custom designed fisheye lens that captures the full 360° image using only two photographs.

Q. How does someone locate my virtual tour online?
A. Your virtual tour may be linked to your company's Web site. You may link the tour to your own personal Website. The link may also be emailed.

Q. How long will it be before my virtual tour is completed?
A. We will contact you to set up an appointment within one business day of placing your order. The appointment time is generally 2 to 5 business days after the order is placed. Most tours are completed within one business day after the photography has been completed.

Q. If the listing sells before my virtual tour is online, will I receive my money back?
A. If the virtual tour has been cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled photography shoot, you will receive a full refund. If cancelled within 24 hours you will be charged $25.00. If the work has already been done, you will be charged to cover the cost of the photographer.

Q. Does the agent or homeowner need to be present when the tour is being photographed?
A. It is highly recommended that you are present at the shoot. If this is not possible, you waive artistic approval of the images and may be restricted to outside images.
